Walmart, Sam’s Club are now offering COVID vaccines at some N.J. locations, company says - nj.com

COVID vaccine appointments have been made available at select Walmart and Sam’s Club stores in New Jersey, the company said Thursday.

The stores have Moderna vaccines, the company said.

You can see the list of 34 stores here. The locations are in Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester, Hudson, Monmouth and Salem counties.

“Patients 65 and older can make their appointments by calling their local Walmart or Sam’s Club pharmacy or by calling the New Jersey Senior Hotline at (856) 249-7007,” a spokeswoman said in a statement.

The company didn’t immediately respond to requests for more information about whether other NJ. residents, such as people under the age of 64 with eligible medical conditions, will be able to make appointments.

Walmart and Sam’s Club join other retailers in offering vaccines in the state, including CVS, Wegmans, Rite Aid and Stop & Shop.

As of 9 a.m. Thursday, 2,743,157 people in New Jersey have received at least one shot, according to the state’s COVID dashboard.
